ALBIDUR® core shell systems are primarily used for modifying duromeric materials. Among the achievable improvements are higher impact resistance, enhanced performance, and better damage tolerance. Significant improvements can also be achieved in terms of impact resistance at low temperatures and fatigue resistance over the entire temperature range. The modulus and glass transition temperature remain intact.
The products of the ALBIDUR® series are solvent-free and are used with great success in the optimization of epoxy resins, vinyl ester resins, unsaturated polyester resins, acrylates, polyurethanes, and cyanate ester resins.

ALBIFLEX® materials are either silicone epoxy copolymers or acrylic terminated polyurethanes, designed to increase flexibility of thermosetting formulations. Used mainly in electronic formulations, they introduce the good electronic properties of the silicone into an epoxy resin.

The impact resistance of epoxy resins can be significantly enhanced with ALBIPOX®. These products are used in adhesives, fiber-reinforced composites or electronic applications. Besides increased toughness they increase adhesion to polar substrates like steel or concrete. Special grades are used as tackifiers for prepregs, textiles or adhesives. Special customized products with guaranteed exclusivity are available for specific applications.
